It didn’t cancel out much of the dark circle as it surprisingly sheered out a lot more around that area.

I typically use a specific type of concealer for under the eye area so I was curious to put this to the test. The concealer dries down to a matte finish so a setting powder isn’t always necessary. The Light/Medium Beige shade is perfect on my skintone (MAC NC25 for reference) as it cancelled our minor redness though does not brighten.
WET N WILD PHOTO FOCUS CONCEALER FULL
I find the coverage hovers more on the medium side compared to its full coverage claim as I do still have to go over certain spots with a third and fourth layer. The Photo Focus Concealer has a lightweight, creamy and easily blendable texture that was very similar to the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer. What I will talk about though, are the coverage and wear. I’ve never had much issues with flashbacks or white cast when wearing any type of high-end / drugstore concealer so I won’t be evaluating this product based on that particular claim. Of the entire Wet n Wild 2017 makeup collection launch, the first product I was most excited about was the Photo Focus Concealer ( USD$3.99, available here) with its NARS-esque square tube packaging, full coverage and bold claim of being proven to be cast-free under seven lighting conditions. You can’t beat that! The formula reminds me a lot of the Tarte Shape Tape Concealer.Wet n Wild Photo Focus Concealer Review. That’s how much I love this stuff! The Wet n Wild PhotoFocus Concealer has great coverage, an incredibly natural finish and it’s only $4. At all! Is the Wet n Wild PhotoFocus Concealer Worth It?Ībsolutely! I’m already on my second time. Literally all of my concealer crease on me. Even still, I’ll notice some mild creasing by the end of the day. I haveto set it with a powder to lock it in place. Not bad at all! In fact, my only gripe with the PhotoFocus Concealer is that it creases a bit. I can easily get 8-10 hours of solid wear before I notice some darkness peeking through.
WET N WILD PHOTO FOCUS CONCEALER SKIN
The creamy formula really helps the concealer to melt into skin for an ultra-natural luminous finish that lasts all day. Certainly not the case here! The PhotoFocus Concealer goes on smoothly and blends easily. The Wet n Wild PhotoFocus Concealer is surprisingly impressive! I was expecting a sheer, watery concealer that slides right off. Naturally, you’ll still need a color corrector if you have extreme dark circles though. The PhotoFocus formula works well to cover dark circles and even conceal pesky brow hairs. And it won’t get cakey as you layer it on thanks to that glorious luminous finish. The PhotoFocus Concealer has medium coverage that’s easily buildable to full. I know you’re over there thinking, “This has to be one sheer concealer for $4!” No, ma’am! Wet n Wild may have been skimpy with the shade range but they let us have it in terms of coverage. However, I still don’t care for mixing shades so I’m really hoping Wet n Wild expands the range soon! But Med/Deep Tan works like a charm when mixed with Dark Cocoa to achieve that brightened, snatched highlight. Which is much too light for me on it’s own. If I want to go full glam, then I’m forced to mix Dark Cocoa with the next lightest shade, Med/Deep Tan. Making Dark Cocoa a wonderful everyday concealer when I want a more natural look. It’s just a teeny bit lighter than my foundation so it works well for subtle highlighting under my eyes and brows. And, of course, it was my top pick.ĭark Cocoa is a neutral medium brown that works well for my skin tone. Sadly, the deepest shade, Dark Cocoa, is the only shade suitable for dark skin. The shade range is abysmal, though! The PhotoFocus Concealer only comes in 6 shades. So it’s great for picturess and works well with different setting powders too. The Wet n Wild PhotoFocus Concealer is rather creamy and offers buildable medium to full coverage with a subtle luminous finish. Wet n Wild describes the PhotoFocus Concealer as a “creamy” and “luminous” formula with “high coverage” and an undetectable finish. Where else can you find a decent concealer for under $5? Offering buildable, natural coverage that’s bound to fit your budget.
